I saw this model of Ray Bans while watching Top Gun: Maverick. Actor John Hamm (Cyclone, in the movie) sported these during the beach scene. I looked for them here in Amazon and was lucky to find them for less than $100. They fit just great, and the lenses (G-15), give a clear and high definition picture. I definitely recommend them, perfect for driving, cycling, or your next F/A-18 mission.

Nice shades, very effective on bright days, very light, easy to forget you're wearing them. Unobtrusive, they don't attract undue attention like the ones with the gold-tone frames. The stems stick a little, which is normal for a new pair of shades. Be kind to your eyes, get them.
So why am I taking off one star?
Because I'm particular about the role of the manufacturer selling the product vs. The customer buying it: like too many too arrogant brands of almost any product, Ray Ban has this notion that for the privilege granted to me in spending my money on their product, the House of Ray Ban sees itself fully entitled to draft me into their workforce as an advertiser, with no salary. The "Ray Ban" logo is painted solid on the top of the right lens, doesn't peel off, deal with it.
So I dealt with it. Remember this: Brass won't scratch glass, and these shades are glass. Use the edge of a penny, or dime, at an angle, and sctatch the logo off. It won't leave any scratches on the glass. Tons of YouTube videos demonstrate how to do this. AT YOUR OWN RISK, YMMV.

These are everything I hoped for, cute, sturdy made, and stylish!

After seventeen years in the blazing sun of Tucson, Arizona, I FINALLY broke down and brought myself (what I hoped was) a quality pair of sunglasses! I had gone through countless pairs of cheapies and had decided it was time. In the back of my mind, admittedly, I wondered if it was worth it... (I can be tight with a buck). The verdict? WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! My first impression? They felt heavy. Not uncomfortably, mind you, but the mass of something well made. After a day or two that only makes them more comfortable... And yes, over time, a few expected random scratches, but far fewer than their lower priced counterparts. And it's not like I baby them. They get beaten up. And they only seem to look BETTER instead of worse... a true sign of quality! This won't be my last pair. But I don't anticipate having to replace them for a long while. In a nutshell? Buy 'em. You won't regret it!

ist seit Jahren meine Lieblingsbrille, hab sie auch schon 3x bestellt, da ich doch öfter mal zu sorglos damit umgehe; dabei ist sie wirklich robust. Tolle Brille kam direkt von Optiker. Das beste daran war er hat sie mir noch in meiner sehstärke gemacht. Der Optiker war sehr nett, und ich liebe diese Brille. Würde mir immer wieder eine über ihn bestellen. Die Gläser sind auch noch mit sehstärke mit dem originalen Ray ban Zeichen. Danke für die schöne Brille.

I was a little worried when I first ordered these impulsively that they’d be too small for my face and that I’d look funny. I had seen them on others and have liked them every time. Ich habe auf jeden fall nach der Größe gesucht aber nirgendwo was gefunden wo man das auswählen kann. Jetzt hab ich sie und habe mich an die zu schmale Brille gewöhnt, Na ja, aber nochmal würde ich sie nicht nochmal nehmen weil man eben keine größere Form auswählen kann, und ich habe keinen großen Kopf. Schade. Von den anderen Werten ist sie in Ordnung.

I'm in love with my new sunglasses. They're polarized so you can see amazingly. I live on the tropic where the sun is super bright and this sunglasses have given my eyes the protection they needed. Just know that they're a little bit small so I recommend for people with small face but overall they are great.

Best Sunglasses Ever!

I never spend this much money on a pair of sunglasses. I thought, for a change, I would see if more money equaled more love. Man oh man! Did it ever. I absolutely love these sunglasses! I won't leave the house without them, even on rainy days. The clarity is excellent. They are very comfortable. They look fantastic. I feel like a rock star when I'm wearing them. I am now a Ray-Ban convert. All my other cheap sunglasses are in a drawer now and I seriously doubt they will see the light of day again. :)

These were almost identical to the ones I was looking at from Sunglasses Hut for a fraction of the cost. The only difference is that they are missing the “P” after the Ray-Ban logo on the lenses, which leads me to believe they are not polarized.

Das ist meine zweite Caravan. Leider habe ich die 55mm Variante gewählt, obwohl die 58er besser gepasst hätte. Aber das ist halt das Risiko, das man beim Onlinekauf hat, wenn man nicht exakt weiß, was man braucht. Trotzdem ist die Caravan ein toller, wertiger Klassiker. Wer wäre James Bond, ohne dieses Schmuckstück? Ein Streifenbulle an der Temse ;)

Groovey man these are so cute! I always like the round lens on sun glasses. The white trim that circles the lens makes the style pop!
The cool lens colors are also fun and so summery! The nose hard is fine and allows the glasses to be adjusted to your nose, also allows air flow so to speak so my eyes don’t get hot .... if that makes sense!
