They maybe expensive, but they are worth the cost. Because I have shaky hands so I had a little difficulty installing mine, however, once I got them installed the fit was tight and secure. No fear of them simply popping out and hitting the ground. The lenses are Cristal clear. By far my favorite pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. I won’t hesitate getting these replacement lenses when these become scratched and worn from years of use.

new life for an old frame

Well these arrived and they fit perfectly. I did do some research and learned that there are 60 and 62mm versions of these and I suspect that that is why some folks said the lenses didn't fit their frame. You can find that info on the inside of the frame itself. I also phoned an Oakley store and they helped me understand that this is very key to the lens fitting properly. I have ordered a second pair in a different color to allow me to swap out lenses for different lighting conditions. My frames are well over 10 years old and are still going strong and it is nice to be able to buy replacement lenses without having to buy entire new product

Exactly what I wanted! These wrap around, fit well, and protect my eyes from the sun and debris, so they’re great for cycling. These days, with heat and drought in central Texas, they’re necessary, just for sun and dust, almost always in the air.I even wear them for dental work, as they’re better than the pair the dentist uses, to protect my eyes while there’s flying spray or whatever, during teeth cleaning, etc. I had a similar pair which I used four years in a row for RAGBRAI, cycling 70– 100 miles a day. This is the best fit for my face, and they’re flattering, too. I’m a 5’3” woman, so they’re not just for men. Well worth the price. Locally, the optometrist wanted significantly more for a similar pair—same style; maybe extra treatment of some sort. But more than I wanted to pay!I love the fit, they’re lightweight and do a great job screening out sunlight and dust. I’m 5’3” and wear size 7 1/2 hat.

Great Light filter with clear view

I've had several pairs of Oakley's with prizm lenses. I keep returning to them because I drive a semi truck and need to be able to have sharp focus in changing light, with these I don't have frames blocking my periferiale view as well as having lenses that wrap around to bloke side light while still being able to see going from bright sun to shade and back. Excellent product best I've ever found.

Great running/biking sunglasses

I have bought the Oakley half jacket for a long time now. They are extremely light weight, great for running/biking as they stay in your face without falling off. I love how much they protect my green eyes from the sun. I have had at least 3 pairs (black frame) in the last 20 years. I believe they were launched in 2002. Loved the white frame. The only hassle is that one has to be really careful as they scratch quite easily still would by another pair when needed.

I love Oakley lenses and I don't mind spending a little more for sunglasses that I love because I tend to live in them and I keep them for a very long time.My favorites were the bottle caps (discontinued) and the bottle rockets (discontinued) and these are the next best thing.Styles are (currently) going to larger lenses, but I don't like them on my cheeks. These are pretty comfortable. They stay in place during active outdoor sports.My only concern with this style (I've had these before) is that the rubber cushions on the nose bridge will wear out after a (long) time. Oakley has inexpensive replacements for these.The bottle caps were the same lenses and similar frames, but didn't have the rubber nose bridge pieces. These stay in place better. I preferred the style and comfort of the older style, but these are the best, and most comfortable options for now.

My Golf Go to Sunglasses

I love it. It clips well on my hat and secured whenever I swing the golf club. Unlike my Rayban that falls off my hat when I hit the golf club. I like the color and the lens it protects my eyes from the bright AZ sun light.

Quality glasses!

I needed new glasses for cycling and these fit the bill. Yes they are expensive, but they are quality glasses with polarized lenses - just what I needed. I can wear them while wearing a bicycle helmet and that was a must. Hopefully they will be long-lasting.

Love the Prism golf lens. Only sunglasses I’ve ever had that I could leave on all the time while playing gol, including when reading putts. Frames are a little tight on average size head.

Perfect replacement for tinted lenses

I tried several different lens tints for playing pickleball but just couldn't find anything that worked under all conditions. Finally decided to get plain old clear lenses. Couldn't be happier. I get the eye protection I need without compromising visibility. I where a ball cap when I play so don't really need \"sunglasses\" and they work great under the lights at night as well. Only adjustment is the occasion sweat bead running down the inside of the lens.

Comfort, style, & functionality

This is the second or third pair of Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses that I have owned. They are light weight and comfortable. My favorite feature and a primary reason I purchased them years ago, is being able to swap the lenses. If they get scratched, or you want polarized, or different color lenses you can change them. Value for the cost is something you would have to decide. I like them and will keep buying them if they continue the product line.

These are nice sunglasses. They fit me well, but the additional padding on the earpieces was just a tad uncomfortable until I got used to them. I got them for $67, so I’m not complaining too much!

I've had my older half jackets for over 8 years and they are still great though a few scratches and peeling of the very edges of the lenses. These were on sale and I thought it time for a new pair and they do not disappoint. Crystal clear visibility and the polarized lenses eliminate all glare. Yes, some lens options are not polarzed but others are so beware of the other reviews or "answered" questions. It clearly states what it is when you select each lens option. Lightweight and comfortable I love them. I don't like wide sunglasses and these fit me the best. Good quality, good durability, and good clarity. Oakley seems to never disappoint me. Highly recommend.

When I bought Oakleys in the past they always came with a hard case. This time they came with a soft pouch. For almost $200 you would think they could give you a hard case. They glasses themselves were excellent and as advertised.

Lenses are great! Clarity and depth perception are standouts. Reason for reducing by a star, was that the box had been opened, but I don’t think they are fakes. There wasn’t a hard case with them nor a microfiber cleaner like other brands—not what I expected from a high-priced brand. They fit snug against the eyebrow—good or bad? Overall I am pleased.

I rarely write reviews. The quality of this product has caused me to make an exception. I bought this over two years ago for a trip to Italy. I needed a small pack for riding horses for a week through Tuscany, and to protect and carry all my important stuff ( wallet, cell, passport, etc.) through two weeks of being a tourist. It worked flawlessly for both.But when I returned home, I found myself using it as a friggin man-purse. A never, ever intender purpose. I have used it every single work day for two years to transport my Ipad, food,documents, blah blah blah. I am NOT easy on my stuff. It is showing almost ZERO signs of wear. I am a shameless convert. I can without reservation ( unless the manufacturer has sold out to the devil and started making these in China in the last two years) give this thing my highest recommendation. Happy to have it, gonna keep on using it, and enjoy the process . Russ Parker

I use these for driving, fishing, the beach, and anywhere outside. They work great if I am sweating or just riding in my car. Oakley polarized sunglasses are some of the best in my opinion. I live in Florida where the sun is super bright and these work fantastic. Also,for you military folks, at least in the Army these are AR 670-1 compliant so you can wear them in uniform as well
